Bayanihan all set to conquer Alabang

MANILA, Philippines - The country’s premiere dance company Bayanihan will perform on Aug. 10, Saturday, 8 p.m., at the Insular Life Auditorium, Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang as part of Filfest Cultural Foundation’s 2013 Season.

Known for its “vibrant and ethereal presentation” (according to the New York Times), the Bayanihan Dance Company has now conquered audiences in more than six continents and has earned a distinction as the first Filipino group to perform in Broadway at the prestigious Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York; the first group to be invited to perform in Russia and China; and the only Filipino dance company to receive the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay award for international understanding, to name but a few of its distinctions.
