MANILA, Philippines - Salcedo Auctions announces its sale of “Important Philippine Art†on Mar. 9 at 2 p.m. Held twice a year, this auction offers serious collectors an opportunity to acquire key works by the country’s most significant visual artists.
The works on offer have been selected from distinguished private collections by the auction house’s art advisor, Ramon E.S. Lerma, director and chief curator of the Ateneo Art Gallery.

Selected artworks are also being auctioned to benefit the Chameleon Association, which runs centers in Passi City, Iloilo to protect and rehabilitate young girls aged 5 to17, who have suffered physical and sexual abuse, and allows underprivileged children to continue their studies through a sponsorship program it runs in its neighboring communities.
