Pinggot Zulueta’s ‘Viajes’ at Galerie Francesca

MANILA, Philippines - Jose “Pinggot” Zulueta mounts “Viajes” (Journeys), which opens on Feb. 21 at Galerie Francesca, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.

Utilizing diptychs and triptychs, Zulueta tantalizes with his use of figuration with pure abstraction to come up with remarkable new works. His paintings reflect all the people he has met and the places he has travelled. His highly nuanced usage of both figuration and abstraction, not to mention the technical aptitude necessary in his approach, shows the continuing development of the artist.
