‘Fashion Take’ at SM Southmall
The Metropolitan Museum of Manila and SM Southmall present “Fashion Take,” a random sampling of Philippine fashion as seen through photographs, paintings and sketches of Filipino photographers, artists, and designers, which is on view until Aug. 22 at SM Southmall in Las Piñas City.
Curated by Corazon Alvina, the show features materials from the collection of Jonathan Best, Wig Tysman, Neal Oshima, Danilo Franco, Toni Galang, and Barge Ramos. Included as well are institutional pieces from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Slims’ Fashion and Arts School. It will be complemented by original dresses from the creations of Ino Curata, Steve de Leon, and Dita Sandico-Ong.
