UP Fine Arts Alumni stage 'Artbeat 3'

Manila, Philippines - The UP College of Fine Arts Alumni Foundation is staging “Artbeat 3,” the third exhibit of oil paintings, drawings, prints, watercolors and sculptures done by the alumni of the College of Fine Arts at the UP Executive House. There are 55 participating artists and their friends, among the most notable of whom are National Artists BenCab and Adulmari Imao and Cheloy Dans, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2011 from the UP Alumni Association.

The UPCFAAF had two earlier exhibits at the UP Executive House and Rockwell Center in Makati, raising funds to support the various needs of students, faculty and the College as well.

Artists featured are Cris Cruz, Ben Infante, Norlie Meimban, Cee Cadid, Aileen Lanuza, Neil Doloricon, Benjie Cabangis, Angel Cacnio, Janice Young, Symkin de Pio, Gig de Pio, Vincent de Pio, Pete Jimenez, Romy Carlos, Ding Hidalgo, Rick de Villa, Fred Liongoren, Sajid Imao, Paul Quianio, Manny Garibay, Jeff Dizon, Tessie Duldulao, Tito Sanchez, Bing Siochi, and Hugo Yonzon Jr., among others.
