Manila, Philippines - Igan D’Bayan presents his most recent works in “Mysterious Diseases,” which opens tomorrow, 8 p.m., at the Pocket Universe Art Collective, second floor of SaGuijo Café + Bar.
In “Mysterious Diseases,” D’Bayan has created portraits inspired by movies such as Dead Snow and Taxideremia, Bizarre and Rue Morgue magazines, as well as a “really sick clinical atlas of dermatology” by a Filipino doctor. Also included are acrylic artworks on x-ray plates mounted inside light boxes.
