'Unlimited Text, Version 2' at Black Soup
MANILA, Philippines - Unlimited Text, a series of dramatic readings of tried and tested or adapted scenes, offers up its Version 2. In the spirit of the season, scenes from three classic romantic films — Breakfast at Tiffany’s, An Officer and a Gentleman and T-Bird at Ako —will be performed. Scenes from the two American films will also have adapted counterparts in Filipino.
Unlimited Text, V.2 is curated by Jenny Jamora. Scenes are directed/adapted by Angeli Bayani, George de Jesus III, Ed Lacson Jr., Pat Valera and Rem Zamora, and include Tara Cabaero, Kat Castillo, Chrome Cosio, Martha Comia, Meann Espinosa, Nico Magno, Paul Jake Paule, Franz Miguel Ramirez, Che Ramos, Noah Ramos, Reuben Uy and Joy Virata.
This “fun-raising project” for the benefit of the Theater Actors Guild (TAG) will be staged tonight at Blacksoup Café and Art Space, 154 Maginhawa St., Sikatuna Village, Quezon City (435-2549/0915-3055480).
