‘Ako: Self-Portraits’ at SM Malls
The Metropolitan Museum of Manila and SM Supermalls present “Ako: Self-Portraits from 1800s to the Present,” which is slated from July 25 to at the Interior Zone SM North Edsa; Aug. 1 to 14 at SM Megmall and at the Atrium, SM Mall of Asia.
The show features a selection of self-portraits by the most renowned names in Philippine visual art. The components range from the works of pre-20 th century masters such as Juan Luna, BenCab, Romulo Galicano, Santiago Bose, Juvenal Sanso, Kiko Escora, Lenore RS Lim, Julie Lluch, Jerusalino Araos, Wig Tysman, and Bobot Meru, among others.
