Rudolf Golez and the Clarion Chamber Ensemble at Insular Hall Alabang

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Filfest Cultural Foundation together with Insular continues “Season 4: Allchestra” with a performance by pianist Rudolf Golez and the Clarion Chamber Ensemble on July 30, 8 p.m., at the Insular Hall in Alabang.

Being the sole prizewinner at the First ASEAN Chopin International Piano Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2004, Rudolf Golez is one of the country’s young piano virtuosi today. He was featured soloist at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Filipino Young Artists Series in 2006. His performance with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra under the great composer/conductor Cristobal Halffter of Madrid playing Nights in the Gardens of Spain by de Falla received critical acclaim.

The Clarion Chamber Ensemble was formed in December 2001 by flutist David Jerome Johnson and pianist Hyun Joo Lee. Clarion concerts provide an alternative to standard classical music performances by presenting moderated concerts designed to awaken the musical curiosity of the listener with the ultimate aim of developing a concert savvy concert attendee. The strength of the Clarion Chamber Ensemble lies in the diversity of its instrumentations, total flexibility of combinations and repertoire that runs the gamut from baroque and classical masters, Romantic to 20th century.

Tickets are at P800 and P400 with discounts for students and seniors.
