‘Touch Me’ at Hiraya Gallery

MANILA, Philippines - Buen Calubayan, Bea Camacho, Enzo Camacho, Lizza May David, Dina Gadia, Sandra Palomar, Wawi Navarozza, Mark Salvatus, Louie Talents, and Constantino Zicarelli release 10 “books” for “Touch Me,” which opens on June 29 at Hiraya Gallery, 530 United Nations Ave., Ermita, Manila. The show runs until July 29.

The show is a take on what is arguably the most important contributions made by the National Hero to Philippine culture — Noli Me Tangere  and El Filibusterismo.

The “books” are Caluybayan’s “Decision”; Bea Camacho’s “Jose Rizal”; Enzo Camacho’s “Raw and Unbridled”; David’s “150 x Rizal”; Gadia’s “Cannibal Girls, Roadkill and Leftovers”; Palomar’s “Ako: Isang Nobelang Pambata sa Salitang Tagalog”; Navarozza’s “Gracias Por Su Visita”; Salvatus’ “Torong Ginto”; Talent’s “Bible with Cauterized Letters”; and Zicarelli’s “Beyond Evil” written under the pseudonym Doktor Konstantino Zikkarelenski.
