MANILA, Philippines - The Congressional Spouses Inc. headed by Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and Art Gallery Manila present “Proud to be Pinoy,” which opens tomorrow, 2 p.m. at the South Wing Lobby, House of Representatives, QC. The show runs until May 31.
Executive Secretary Jojo Ochoa, Ces Drilon, and Kim Atienza will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony with Speaker Feliciano “Sonny” Belmonte, Mikee Romero, Gigi Reyes, Mayor Herbert Bautista, Tricia del Rosario, former Vice President Noli de Castro, and Rep. Mark Villar.
“Proud to be Pinoy,” a tribute to the global Filipinos who have made international recognition for themselves and for our country, features works of Fernando Amorsolo, Tam Austria, Anita Magsaysay-Ho, Ang Kiukok, Arturo Luz, Vicente Manansala, Juvenal Sanso, Oscar Zalameda, Teo Alagao, Biwan, Malyn Bonayog, Nelson Bosita, Budz Convocar, Rene Cuvos, Joey dela Cruz, Don de Dios, Mael de Guzman, Edeguz, Gripo, PJ Jalandoni, Darrel Lagasca, Josue Mangrobang Jr., Maia, Jaylenver Penaflor, Amante Quiaz, Fred Ramirez, Jerson Samson, and Tala.
Some of the proceeds of the exhibit will be used to fund various charity activities of the Congressional Spouses Inc.
