Walkway: Reflections on The Stations of the Cross

Walkway on its fourth year at Bonifacio High Street is an artistic and interactive exhibit designed to challenge the way you see the events surrounding the crucifixion of Jesus.  It will open on April 17, Palm Sunday, signaling the start of Holy Week.

It is during this last week of Lent that Christians all over the world mark the agony, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The exhibit is designed to give people the opportunity to slow down from the busyness of life and reflect on how God demonstrated His love for humanity.

It invites residents, shoppers and visitors of Fort Bonifacio Global City to follow the footsteps of Christ from the Garden of Gethsemane, to the Sanhedrin where He was condemned to death, to the scene of the cruel scourging and up the winding Via Dolorosa to the cross at Calvary.

Walkway will be presented on the almost one kilometer park area that runs at the center of the popular Bonifacio High Street mall.

This unusual rendition of the Stations of the Cross has gathered over twenty thousand people last year, and continually promises to be an unforgettable experience, one that can move even the most passive on-looker.

Walkway: Reflections on the Stations of the Cross will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Palm Sunday, April 17 to Easter Sunday, April 24.

The exhibit caps off with a musical concert  on Easter Sunday featuring some of the country's top artists and musicians, including, Jay Durias, Barbie Almalbis, Julianne, Marcus Davis Jr., Amber Davis, Paolo Valenciano, Robin Nievera, Nyco Maca, The Plan, Jay Enrile and The Walkie Talkies. The concert will also be at the Bonifacio High Street.

The Stations of the Cross Exhibit is co-presented by Church Simplified and The Diamond Auto Group of Companies, in cooperation with Provill and Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation.
