Scott Garceau launches short story collection

MANILA, Philippines – Anvil Publishing and National Bookstore will launch Philippine STAR “X-Pat Files” columnist Scott Garceau’s new collection of short fiction titled Simianology at National Bookstore, Glorietta 5 on Tuesday, April 5, 6 p.m.
Simianology, published by Anvil, contains 14 short stories, ranging from the surreal and poetic to the comic and provocative, loosely linked by a trio of tales involving simians that hint at our connection with the primate world.
This is Garceau’s second short story collection, and his second title with Anvil after the 2001 essay collection Kano-nization: More Secrets from the X-Pat Files.
The launch and book signing is open to the public.
