Manuel Ocampo at West Gallery

Manuel Ocampo gets inspiration from French artist and poet Francis Picabia’s collection of writings, I am a Beautiful Monster, in his latest exhibit “Boycotter of Beauty and Theoretical Steroid Defiled Modernist Chicken,” which is on view until Feb. 26 at West Gallery, 48 West Ave., QC.

“He didn’t have one style. He was part of the avant-garde movement of his time, yet denounced the movement’s principle as well,” Ocampo says of Picabia, who, like him, does not possess set or learned techniques

Antipas Delotavo at Finale Art File
