'Pioneers of Philippine Art' at Ayala Museum
MANILA, Philippines - Ayala Museum presents “Pioneers of Philippine Art,” which is on view at the Third Floor Galleries of Ayala Museum, Greenbelt Park, Makati City.
The show chronicles 100 years of Philippine art from the late 19th century to the 20th century in the works of three artists — Juan Luna (1857 to 1899), Fernando Amorsolo (1892 to 1972), and Fernando Zobel (1924 to 1984) — each artist a pioneer in his own way, in his own time.
