'Art Venue' at SM Mall of Asia

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the East College of Fine Arts (UE CFA) will present “Art Avenue,” a joint visual art exhibit by the UE CFA’s SY 2009-2010 Advertising and Painting seniors and graduating class, which opens tomorrow at the Pavilion, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. The show runs until March 22.

“The exhibit highlight the artists’ mastery in digital design, visualization and execution of campaign ads, annual reports, brochures, billboards, posters, collaterals, as well as the latest creations in both traditional and modern paintings,” says UE CFA Dean Celino B. Santiago.

Professors Angelito L. de Guzman and Ellen D. Villanueva are the faculty advisers for the Painting and Advertising students, respectively.

“Interiors 2010,” which is on view at the Tan Yan Kee Academic Building Exhibit Area, UE Caloocan, 105 Samson Road, Caloocan City; showcases the works of the UE CFA Interior Design seniors and graduating class with Prof. Brigid Sarmiento as adviser.
