'Angelsong' relaunched at Mag:net High St.

-

Candid Records relaunches the “Angelsong” album by acclaimed jazz guitarist Aya Yuson on Nov. 12, 7 p.m., at Mag:net on Bonifacio High Street.

A live performance will feature the artist as part of a jazz trio, with Simon Tan on bass and Rey Viduya on drums, while Yosha Honasan and Aileen Bailon will alternate on vocals.

Both singers were also guest vocalists in the CD which features 14 tracks, all composed, written and arranged by Aya Yuson, and which had seen an initial launch hosted last September at Ten-02 jazz bar on Timog Avenue.

The album boasts a virtuosic range of jazz styles and modes — from instrumental numbers highlighted by the participation of saxophone legend Tots Tolentino to the vocal numbers that also feature jazz diva Skarlet and the celebrated pop tenor Arthur Manuntag.
