Once again, the Baila Summer Workshop has been working it all summer long, happily seeing all the dancing feet banging away on our studio floors.
And as always, as the culminating event to conclude the summer months’ activities, which we all always look forward to: the summer dance recital.
This year, Baila will be presenting its 5th summer recital On May 31, 2008, Saturday, 6pm at the Carlos P Romulo Theater in the RCBC Building in Makati.
This year’s recital shall be entitled “EVOLUTION” and as the name suggests, will be showcasing the choreographies taken up throughout the summer months in a progressive program presenting the evolution of movement from the earliest of days to the present .
The show means to display how mere motion became what we know today as DANCE.
The show shall compile numbers from each class: Ballet, Bellydance, Body Grind, Hip-Hop, International Ballroom, Jazz, Muay Thai, Gymnastics and many more…all in a synergetic program that ascends into a grand finale. We expect this show, like our shows in the past, to be bigger and better than ever.
