For Allure’s Wedding Special issue, Uptown/Downtown shares three gorgeous looks, courtesy of ace makeup and hairstylist Raz Rimor, guaranteed to elevate every bride to certified majestic status on her wedding day!
The Sophisticate
This is all about brows, lashes and red, red lips! The personification of class, this bride walks down the aisle as cool as ice and ready to face her Dynasty-ic future!
For foundation, Raz used Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 120 Neutral Light. Eyebrows were shaped and filled using Benefits Precisely My Brow Eyebrow Pencil in Medium.
For the eyes, Raz applied Kat Von D’s Shade and Light eyeshadow in Lazarus shade for the inner lid and Saleos shade for definition on the outer lid and as a liner for the lower lashes. He then tinted the upper lash line with Shade and Light’s Shax and attached Huda Beauty Shortie False Eyelashes.
For the cheeks, Raz used Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop. He also lined and filled the lips with Pat McGrath’s MatteTrance Lipstick in Elson shade. To seal the look, Lancome’s Teint Mineral Loose Powder was dusted on the entire face.
Raz kept the hair off the face with a low chignon.
The Natural
Think earth-goddess beach wedding! This bride is all about rocking the no-makeup makeup look and keeping everything as simple and as natural as possible.
For this look, Raz used MAC Studio Fix Fluid as base foundation. Eyebrows were shaped and filled using Anastasia of Beverly Hills in Brown. Then, Zoeva Aristo Eyeshadow Palette in Naturalistic was applied on the inner lid while It Cosmetics’ Naturally Pretty Essentials in Intrigue was added for definition on the outer lid. Raz applied three coats of L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise on the eyelashes. On the cheeks, Raz brushed on Too Faced Sun Bunny Duo Tone Bronzer. On the lips, he used Pat McGrath’s MatteTrance in the shade 1995.
For the hair, Raz kept it clean, straight and unencumbered.
The Romantic
Unearth those Barbara Cartland pocketbooks, this look is all about romance! Cascading, tousled hair, luscious pink lips and strands of pearls are the elements that guarantee this look a happy-ever-after ending!
Raz used Estee Lauder Double Wear in Tawny foundation. He then shaped and filled the eyebrows using Anastasia of Beverly Hills in Brown.
For eyeshadow, Raz picked Anastasia of Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance in Love Letter shade for the inner lid and Anastasia of Beverly Hills Norvina Palette in Soul shade for definition on the outer lid. From the same palette, Raz used Base shade as a highlighter on the brow bone. For blush, Two Faced Peach My Cheeks Melting Powder in Blush was applied. Lips were lined and filled with NARS lipstick in Schiap.
Raz kept the hair tousled and cascading — a forest of tendrils!
