A beautiful dream come true
“We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone — we find it with another.” — Thomas Merton
After nine years of being friends and over two years of dating, Nico de Leon, son of Valentino and Fidelita de Leon, and Ysabel Rufino, daughter of Ernest Rufino Jr. and Josie Padilla Rufino, exchanged vows in a touching ceremony at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati City.
An elegant reception followed at the Manila Polo Club where guests enjoyed the blush pink and rose gold interiors, delectable dishes and an intimate celebration of love, family and friendship.
Making the day even more special was the fact that it was also the 55th wedding anniversary of the parents of the bride. Nico and Ysabel chose to wed on the same date because Ernest and Josie’s marriage has inspired them in many ways.

“It was the wedding of our dreams,” Ysabel shared. “While we knew it would be the happiest day of our lives, we cannot even begin to describe how wonderfully the day unfolded.”
The newlyweds would like to give special thanks to Pat Dy Photography, Albert Ao and Project Mayo 7, JC Alelis, Christine Ong-Te and team, and Gina Galang.
Truly, Nico and Ysabel’s love story proves that God makes everything beautiful in His time. Best wishes to the happy couple!
