The ‘Madness’ of Jun Jun Ablaza
Manila’s biggest fashion enthusiasts and style connoisseurs were left awestruck by Jun Jun Ablaza’s recent runway show at the Manila Fashion Festival held at the Marquee Tent of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City.
Showcasing his latest avant-garde collection for men, the talented artist and fashion designer wowed the audience with his unconventional aesthetic. The collection, aptly titled “Much Madness,” is a highly imaginative interpretation of the rise of industrialized trends in fashion.
Opening the show was award-winning actor Paolo Ballesteros who modeled a show-stopping ensemble made of several white bubble jackets constructed as one wearable item. The amazement never stopped as the models stepped out one by one wearing astonishing pieces, all of which were made of repurposed materials. Truly, there is a thin line between madness and genius.
