A night of gratitude
“A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all other virtues.”— Cicero
Amiable couple Zambia Consul Luis Ablaza and wife, Guatemala Consul Mellie Ablaza recently hosted a splendid thanksgiving party in their lavish home for several of their close friends from the diplomatic and social circles.
Delighted guests were in awe of the Ablazas’ dining area, which was impeccably decorated by the couple’s son, brilliant designer Jun Jun Ablaza. An exquisite dinner of sumptuous signature dishes was prepared by restaurateur chef Jessie Sincioco.
After a sumptuous dinner, a night of entertainment followed with a special number by the Syquia children — Alfonso, Agu, Amanu and Azi. It was capped off by a string of ballroom hits that had guests dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
Cheers to consuls Luis and Mellie for hosting yet another exceptional gathering!
