PeopleAsia magazine’s annual “People of the Year” event was a gathering of the country’s stellar icons in various fields. The first big event of the year was well-attended by distinct VVIPs and noteworthy personalities from politics, the diplomatic corps, business, fashion and entertainment that filled the Grand Ballroom of the New World Makati Hotel like a blanket of stars.
Style and its formal code of dressing reigned on the red carpet with a parade of noteworthy individual fashion. Haute creations from the most simple to dramatic displayed a variety of silhouettes seamlessly echoing a natural study on grace and sophistication. The bold and beautiful shone in a dazzling scene where fashion celebrated the diversity of local designer wear.
