Meeting with the ‘Faaabvlous’
Artistic photographer of royalty and high society Rupert Jacinto’s Faaabvlous V photo exhibit and coffee table book launch was held at The Peninsula Manila. The event’s guests of honor Swiss Ambassador Ivo Sieber, French Ambassador Gilles Garachon and Beth Day-Romulo were assisted by the book-cover ladies Sandie Poblador, Mabel Abaño, Sally Maliuanag and Jennifer Sarmiento.
The photo exhibit at The Gallery featured the traditional Jacinto portraits with Manny Pangilinan, Lorenzo Tan, artist Gus Albor, Francis Libiran, former Sen. Ramon Magsaysay Jr., Olympian Michael Martinez, Rex Mendoza, Greg Navarro, among other notable subjects.
The Faaabvlous Fifteen Women are Nabbie Alejo, Tetta Agustin-Bravery, Flora Chua, Sheree Chua, Mags Cue, Tiffany Syson-Cuña, Benedicta Du-Baladad, Jemellie Gonzales, Nguyen Mai Huong, Gina Ronquillo, Sarah Sison, Annie Tanco, Mildred Vitangcol, Ofelia Wadle and Marife Zamora.
The Portraits of the Imagination series included the silkscreen portraits of Imelda Marcos and 26 other interesting personalities.
Dinner followed at the Rigodon Ballroom. The event was held in partnership with the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines, and in support of the advocacies of the Ad Foundation and for the Love-a-Parish program of the Sto. Niño de Paz Chapel in Greenbelt.
