It is again that time of the year when beauty and charity come together for a great cause as an afternoon tea party officially marked the festivities for the 2014 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines.
The party, led by event chairperson Angola Consul Helen Ong, with the selection and organizing committee members Roselle Rebano, Mabel Abaño, Tanzania Consul Betty Chua, Roy Gonzales, Gambia Consul Agnes Huibonhoa, Sandie Poblador, Elaine Rojas Villar and your columnist as lifetime adviser, formally introduced the awardees in a gathering hosted by the Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) spearheaded by chairman Dr. Roberto Paterno.
Headlining this year’s prestigious charity event, which was conceptualized under the tutelage of honorary chairperson Imelda Cojuangco in 2004, are Style Icons Bulacan Rep. Linabelle Ruth Villarica, Richwell Trading Corp. owner Myrna Tang Yao and Convergys Philippines Services Corp. chairman Marife B.
