Celebrating alluring women
It was a beautiful night of celebrating women when the Allure section of The Philippine STAR honored 14 Women of Allure with a photo exhibit at the Shangri-La Plaza East Wing Atrium in Mandaluyong City.
The celebration became more meaningful as families and friends of the honorees arrived to proudly witness the event.
The Women of Allure 2014 include Unilever PR head for personal care Apples Aberin, fashion and accessories designer Mia Arcenas, PAG-IBIG Fund president and CEO lawyer Darlene Berberabe, award-winning artist Marina Cruz, Zen Zest president and CEO Michelle Asence-Fontelera, Bb. Pilipinas-International Bianca Guidotti, cosmetic dentist Cecile Infantado, shoes and accessories designer Emi Jorge, model and animal rights advocate Joey Mead-King, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Mary Jean Lastimosa, model and makeup artist Fatima Rabago, model and photojournalist Jenny Rockett, Rags2Riches founder-partner and CEO Reese Fernandez-Ruiz and Makati Shangri-La communications director Lesley Tan.
Emceed by Markki Stroem, the event was spearheaded by Allure editor Joanne Rae Ramirez with assistant editor Büm Tenorio Jr. and creative director Luis Espiritu Jr.
Gracing the event were STAR’s Sara Soliven-de Guzman, Grace Glory Go, Shangri-La Plaza EVP and GM Lala Fojas, Solaire Resort and Casino director of communications and public relations Joy Wassmer, model Hideo Muraoka and Women of Allure 2012 Ingrid Chua-Go.
The event was presented by Shangri-La Plaza Mall. Bizu Patisserie, the exhibit’s co-presentor, served delectable canapés and flowing drinks. The Women of Allure 2014 and guests took home giveaways from The Body Shop. Fujifilm was the exhibit’s official printer.
This year’s Women of Allure photographers are Mau Aguasin, Rita Marie Abiog and Shaira Luna; makeup artists Ria Aquino, Sari Campos and Pia Reyes with hairstylists Avril Seguin, Rhoy Cervantes and Dave Lopez; and stylists Mikka Velasquez, Bang Martinez, Tara Subaldo, Diane Lasam, Jona Buenaventura and Ann Andres.
