An evening with Argentina’s finest
A number of the metro’s A-listers gathered at the La Veranda of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila to sample iconic Argentine wines from the Mascota Vineyards made by renowned winemaker Rodolfo “Opi” Sadler.
The lovely affair was hosted by Tita Trillo of Titania Wine Cellar and Mascota Vineyards regional manager for Asia Lucas Mehdi, with the able assistance of hardworking hotel general manager Adam Laker.
Taking the spotlight during the event were four exquisite wines — Opi Chardonnay, Opi Cabernet Sauvignon, Gran Mascota Malbec and La Mascota Chardonnay — which were perfect matches to the sumptuous four-course dinner prepared by Sofitel’s culinary experts, chefs Mok Chee Wah and Bettina Arguelles.
Bottles of Mascota wines personally signed by Opi Sadler were raffled off to lucky guests to cap the event.
