Part 1

A woman is pure in spirit. Her concerns are not only the things that will bring her comfort; she also thinks of the well-being of the people around her. She constantly improves herself because essential to her existence is the ability to share whatever she reaps. She delights in giving. She revels in loving — her family and friends, her job and her craft, her community, her advocacy, herself.

She is a woman — pure.

In her honor, the Allure section of The Philippine Star presents today eight “Women of Allure.” Six more lovely and accomplished women will be featured next Sunday. We invite you to be with us as we celebrate the distinction that comes with being Women of Allure, a yearly-tribute now on its ninth year! — Büm D. Tenorio Jr.
