Fun day of golf with MOPC
The Manila Overseas Press Club’s 5th Invitational Golf tourney was a resounding success, with corporate honchos mingling with diplomats and media editors for an enjoyable afternoon of golf at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Participants engaged in a friendly but nevertheless fierce competition to win top honors in various categories. When the dust finally settled, the following emerged as victors:
Class A – Jose Mari Delgado, champion with Yi Kyu Shung as first runner-up; Class B – Metro Pacific Investment Corp.’s Jera Sison as champion with Mike Roces as first runner-up. For Class C, Bangladeshi Ambassador John Gomes bested everyone while Earl Seno of Smart Communications settled for first runner-up. Pilipinas Shell’s Bobby Kanapi had the “Lowest Net†while Overall Champion with Lowest Gross honors went to Ben Jacinto of Megafiber.
