A stylish wedding

The beautiful and touching love story of long-time couple Joseph Calata and Marnely Salvador culminated in a solemn ceremony concelebrated by four bishops and 12 priests at St. John Bosco Parish Church in Makati City.
Like a fairy tale princess, Marnely looked radiant and lovely in a stunning long-sleeved Victorian-inspired gown by Veluz Puno Reyes while Joseph looked suave and dapper in a dashing ensemble by Francis Libiran. People closest to the couple, led by their parents Eusebio and Isabel Calata and Jacinto and Catalina Salvador, were all present to witness this joyous occasion. Distinguished guests present in the affair included Vice President Jejomar Binay, Chilean Ambassador Roberto Mayorga and wife Paulina, Swiss Ambassador Ivo Sieber and wife Gracita, Singaporean Ambassador Hirubalan V P and wife Mano, European Union Ambassador Guy Ledoux and wife Margaret, New Zealand Ambassador Reuben Levermore, Czech Ambassador Josef Rychtar, Greek Ambassador Constantina Koliou and Eti Bar-On.
A lavish reception followed at the Raffles and Fairmont Makati ballroom, which was transformed into the stylish Great Gatsby era of the 1920s. Guests were treated to a plethora of mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres, overflowing wine and champagne plus spectacular performances by Nicole Asensio and The Company.
