Face of Allure: Andee Aragon

MANILA, Philippines - Andreana “Andee” Aragon’s radiant beauty and infectious smile radiate enough sunshine to brighten one’s day. Her positive attitude allows her to delight people around her. “I live by keeping God in mind in everything I do. I believe my faith guides me. It is beautiful to see the good in everyone. Seeing other people happy, especially those who are important to me, makes me happy,” says Andee.

Twenty-two-year-old Andee, the eldest of two daughters of Timmy and Barbara “Babsie” Aragon, takes the lessons she learned from her parents to heart. “My dad taught me to be strong and independent and be kind and compassionate towards others. I learned from my mom to grab every opportunity and make the most out of it. You can never stop learning,” she says.

Having a fun and carefree childhood molded Andee into becoming a responsible daughter and a loving sister to her sibling Daniella. She treasures memorable moments that she spends with her sister, whom she considers her best friend. “I’m a caring sister. I really watch out for Daniella. She’s also my go-to person. I can share with her my weirdness and I can be myself when I’m with her.”

An Organizational Communications graduate from De La Salle University, Andee says being in college allowed her to view life’s bigger picture as well as learn how to tackle life’s obstacles. Her college education allowed her to hone her skills and meet all kinds of people, like her professors who helped her grow.

Now in the real world, Andee finds fulfillment in her current job as a merchandise assistant for Stores Specialists Inc., the franchise partner of Dune London in the Philippines. She admits that she sees herself going far in the industry. “I can say my greatest achievement so far is opening up Dune. Placing orders, designing the store, handling visual merchandise, we do everything. Seeing the whole process in opening the store made me realize that this is really it! This is real!” she says.

As a child, Andee wanted to be an astronaut to reach outer space and see the stars. Now, in her chosen career, she is reaching her own stars and building her own dreams.
