Shamcey Supsup & Lloyd Lee: Falling in love with style
MANILA, Philippines - Theirs is a beautiful relationship filled with faith, laughter and love. Fully aware that they are meant for each other, Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup and her fiancé Lloyd Lee will wed on Dec. 29.
The couple donned the most stylish of Fall fashion during their visit to Korea for their prenuptial photos.
Unknown to many, Shamcey and Lloyd are actually big foodies, especially when it comes to Korean food, which they both love. They had their pictorial in Korea amid the beautiful colors of autumn. Their families joined them in Korea for an eight-day trip that turned out to be a meaningful bonding moment for all of them.
Shamcey and Lloyd, who first met in 2011, were very impressed with the beautiful scenery in Korea. But more than the beautiful places they visited, particularly Nami Island where their Winter Sonata-themed prenup was shot, they were also very much impressed by the delicious dishes offered in the country. The two foodies just couldn’t get enough of the delicious fare that was available there — from their ultimate favorite, the Korean barbecue, to the various mouthwatering streetfood.
Shamcey admits that they could actually have Korean barbecue, morning, noon and night — if possible. Lloyd shares that a bowl of bulgogi had become much more enjoyable because of the cold weather.
This is why they found it delightful to have been offered the chance to become Chef’s Noodle’s newest endorsers. Already a popular restaurant chain in Korea with over 60 branches, Chef’s Noodle has started gaining popularity in the Philippines as it continues to expand in various locations. The restaurant is constantly coming up with delicious menu offerings, all personally developed by Korean celebrity chef Choi In Sun.
Shamcey says that aside from having hearty appetites, she and her soon-to-be husband also share the same taste in food, making their culinary adventures much more enjoyable and exciting. She adds that Lloyd actually became addicted to the spicy paste that Koreans use in their meals that he even started to hoard his own stash — from the sachets in the airplane to a big bottle of it, which they found in a local Korean store. Lloyd says he likes to eat this spicy paste with rice as it makes it more delicious. The couple has become totally enamored by Korea that Lloyd asked his cousin, who is studying there to bring home the traditional bowls and chopsticks that Koreans use for dining so they can use them in their future home.
Perhaps, they will also honeymoon in Korea?
