MANILA, Philippines - When you dance, you don’t just show off your moves — you also show off your style!
Skechers Streetdance Battle, the biggest, toughest and hottest dance competition in the country, is not just about epic streetdance performances but is also a showcase of the best in streetdance fashion. During the elimination series, dancers with the most awesome fashion style and swag were chosen to be among the finalists of the Skechers Streetstylers.
This year, at the Skechers Streetdance Battle 9 — five female and four male dancers — made the cut for the Streetstylers finals face-off, which will happen during the Final Battle on Nov. 23 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Set to hit the spotlight are: Aivey Flores of San Beda College-Alabang, Vince Gamad of De La Salle University-Manila, John Carlo Dagdag of UP Los Baños, Fritzi Ayn Ramos of AMA Makati, Joy Navarroza of Lyceum-Manila, Charles Sindac of Claret School of Quezon City, Kairie Tria of Colegio de San Agustin, Angelo Fuentes of FEU-EAC and Illy Zara of De La Salle University-Antipolo.
Watch out as the fashionable finalists strut on stage their trendy garb paired with the latest kicks from Skechers. Some of the latest styles set to be worn by the streetstylers in the finals include the revved-up GOrun2 in pop-out color combinations, trend-setting men’s sneakers, colorful dance sneakers Flex Appeal, and the ultra fab Skch + 3 sneaker wedge.
Two winners (male and female) stand to win the Skechers Streestyle Awards — the much-coveted title of being the most fashionable, as well and P10,000 worth of Skechers shoes and Skechers Time watches each.
Catch the Skechers Streetdance Battle 9’s colossal Final Battle on Nov. 23 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Ten high school and 16 college dance crews will have the biggest showdown onstage to earn ultimate bragging rights as the country’s supreme dance crew!
