Giordano debuts at Philippine Fashion Week

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The colors of summer took center stage when Giordano, an international retail clothing chain, made a successful debut at the recent Philippine Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2014.

Giordano, a popular brand in the Philippines since the ‘90s, has built a loyal following with its array of wardrobe essentials and reliable casual wear in vibrant colors and eye-catching graphics. Always current, Giordano weaves its original take on the latest trends.

Putting a fresh spin on everyday wear, Giordano has brightened up Philippine Fashion Week, perfectly capturing the vivacious spirit of the summer season.

Featuring 85 looks from Giordano’s upcoming collection for Spring/Summer 2014, the runway was filled with must-have pieces that carried nautical elements like Breton stripes and summery hues of yellow and blue. Giordano’s latest collection also made use of various materials that are perfect for the country’s tropical climate, like summer staple linen, and the must-have chambray. Dominating the catwalk were button-down shirts in chalky pastels and plaids, preppy patchwork polos for men, shorts and pants in oxford and linen, breezy and relaxed dresses and ethnic-inspired tops for women.

The show was dubbed “Holiday Cruise and Linen Story.” All the pieces in the collection showcased what made Giordano the success story that it is, and more.
