Mandarin Oriental Manila’s new GM

‘Man of the Hour.’ Torsten Van Dullemen expresses his thanks for the guests’ warm welcome.

Mandarin Oriental Manila’s new general manager Torsten Van Dullemen and his Italian wife Paola easily charmed the guests with their easygoing and affable ways during Van Dullemen’s formal introduction at The Tivoli, the five-star hotel’s popular fine dining restaurant. He first joined the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2004 and has held several positions since then. The most previous of which is as general manager in the group’s Chiang Mai hotel.

Not many know that the Dutch-born Van Dullemen is also a passionate photographer and authored India: Udaipur: As It Is that showcased the beauty of the city also known as the “Venice of the East” and the “City of Sunrise.” 

Van Dullemen’s rich experience in the hotel industry and his very genial personality will surely add even more to the prestige and popularity of Mandarin Oriental Manila.
