‘Time for Taiwan’

MANILA, Philippines - The Taiwan Tourism Bureau brings back to the country its remarkable travel and tourism fair staged by ThemeWorks Events. The two-day event, dubbed “Time for Taiwan,” will be held on May 4 and 5, starting at 11 a.m., at the new Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. This year’s edition of the travel fair will showcase 18 trade partners, including five airlines and the country’s top travel agents that promote Taiwan as a destination hub for every traveler.

The slogan “Time for Taiwan” is a statement that promises to provide travelers and tourists the best Taiwan has to offer — from tourist spots, food, arts and culture, malls, shops and many more.  Moreover, the no-visa requirement in traveling to Taiwan is a bonus. Plus, the low US dollar to Philippine peso conversion rate makes things much more convenient. At airport arrivals and in major cities, the Tourism Bureau operates information centers that help foreign visitors design the tours best suited to their interests, locate lodging and find their way around. The bureau publishes an array of informational materials, including the bimonthly magazine Travel in Taiwan. Each city and county also provides information in English to enhance the ease and enjoyment of its sightseers.
