Tomato is outstanding fashion brand
MANILA, Philippines - This Tomato has bagged another crown.
Fashion brand Tomato recently won the Award for the Outstanding Fashion Retailer Brand of 2012 given annually by the Philippine Retailers Association, the official organization of the retail industry in the Philippines. Tomato managing director Lennie Dionisio accepted the award on behalf of the brand, together with Tomato’s dynamic team, last Jan. 22 at the Crown Plaza, Ortigas City.
The brand has been a finalist to this prestigious award-giving body since it received its Most Promising Retailer Award in 2008.
Tomato, managed by Prime Colors International, Inc., won the award for its “Affordable Fashion Concept,†which makes trendy fashion available to ordinary working Filipino men and women through its 30 outlets located at prime malls in the metro. The brand also has a pioneering online store that reaches all corners of the country and the world.
In 2012, Tomato also extended its Affordable Fashion Concept with the introduction of Tomato Time, a collection of high-end and fashionable-looking timepieces at very affordable prices. Each timepiece comes with a one-year warranty on its Japan mechanism parts.
Late last year, Tomato opened its flagship store at the Glorietta 2 Vibe in Makati City. It looks and feels like a luxurious high-end store in the US and Europe.
This year, the brand promises to make it big again as it looks forward to introducing more innovative concepts for the local retail fashion industry.
