Fun & fashionable dance fest

MANILA, Philippines - Fashionably fun girls’ teens line Crissa has once again successfully showcased teen-oriented social activities to empower the Filipino youth and promote wholesome and enriching activities in this year’s Crissa Digital Dance Synergy — the first nationwide girl invasion grand finals held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Now on its seventh year, this Department of Education and CHED accredited all-girl nationwide dance competition has served as a shining inspiration to young Filipinas that with talent, creativity, hard work plus a lot of style, come great rewards.

Crissa Digital Dance Synergy competition and its grueling yet fun eliminations and semi-final rounds, brought 15 College and eight High School teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to compete in the grand finals.

The second runner-up title went to Saint Pedro Poveda Enciende and La Salle Dance Company-Street for High School and College divisions respectively, each team taking home P50,000. Miriam College Sayawatha Dance Troupe and UPLB Street Jazz placed first runners-up with P75,000 each.

For the High School category, Colegio De Sta. Rosa Phat Girls Crew emerged victorious with their impeccable style and smooth and energetic moves. Same with the Adamson Cast who stood strong amidst tough competition in the College category with their flawless executions and smashing grooves. Both champions won the grand prize of P150,000, a fashion spread in Meg magazine and the esteem of being the hottest all-girl dance crew in the nation.

The event was a huge success as special performances from Krista Kleiner, Somedaydream and Kit Thompson plus appearances by celebrity guests added more energy to an already excitingly electric day.
