One moment is worth more than a thousand gold pieces. – Korean Proverb
We have seen several Korean trends taking over the country, from music, dining, dance and even fashion, which gather much attention especially from Filipinos.
With the dawn of this trend, and in a meaningful effort to show Filipinos how admirable Korea is, The Bellevue Manila recently held its first-ever Korean festival entitled “Discover Korea 2012.” Being the finest five-star hotel in the southern metro, the hotel team led by The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts visionary chairman Johnny Chan, managing director Patrick Chan and corporate director for marketing and communications Ryan Chan and deputy general manager Dustin Chan, ensured that guests had a grand time while getting to know more about Korea.
The 10-day affair gathered a lot of local and even foreign guests who savored the authentic cuisine prepared by the seasoned Korean chefs who flew in to Manila for the occasion. Business luminaries and society’s crème de la crème, including Korean Cultural Center director Seong-Un Hwang, banker OV Espiritu and Marivic Madrigal Vazquez, who were all in awe with the hotel’s impeccable attention to detail and warm service that made the festival one of the most treasured gatherings in the city.
Congratulations to The Bellevue Manila team for this monumental feast!
