Two Business Class tickets to conclude 'SIA Journeys'
MANILA, Philippines - Singapore Airlines invites all interested parties to join the final phase of “SIA Journeys,” as the online gaming promotion nears its conclusion on Oct. 23. For the ongoing final phase, the global winner will take home the grand prize of two round-trip Business Class tickets to any SIA destination.
As a bonus, SIA Manila office has thrown in an exclusive prize for the local market. The highest-scoring Philippine-registered Filipino player in SIA Journeys will win 75,000 KrisFlyer miles equivalent to one round-trip economy class ticket to any destination covered by SIA’s A380 aircraft — the biggest commercial aircraft in the world. This means that if the global winner is a Philippine-registered Filipino, he will also be entitled to win the bonus 75,000 KrisFlyer miles.
“This is our way of showing our appreciation to the Filipino market, which has been a great part of SIA’s journey through the years as an airline that caters to people who value punctuality and superior quality service and amenities. We wanted to enhance the global contest by making a special prize available exclusively to a Filipino,” SIA marketing communications and services manager Rita Dy explained.
Winners in the first three phases include: Tan Swee Chuan of Singapore who won a pair of SIA economy class tickets on the posh Boeing 747 aircraft; Edgare Kerkwijk of the Netherlands who was awarded 50,000 KrisFlyer miles; Wong Chee Fatt Kevin of Malaysia who won two round-trip economy class tickets to any SIA destination and highest-scoring Philippine-based winner Jayson Din who won 25,000 KrisFlyer miles, equivalent to one economy class round-trip ticket from Manila to Singapore.
SIA also included a surprise raffle in phase three, which awarded Pier Paolo Messaggio of Italy a generous prize package containing two tickets to Toulouse, France on SIA’s 19th A380 aircraft, two-night accommodation, a half-day tour of the city and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Airbus factory.
No purchase is required and players anywhere in the world may join by creating their own fictional “passports,” earning points by participating in stimulating games and activities posted on www.SIAJourneys.com. Users can also earn bonus points for flying on SIA or for being KrisFlyer members.
