Ole!

This season, Ole Morabe, who is known in Manila as a wedding gown designer, extends his art to daywear. His love for simple silhouettes is evident in his cleanly constructed collection.

Morabe uses organdy and voile materials and tweaks otherwise classical pieces by using asymmetrical cuts and multi-layering. He balances his eye-catching tops with simple bottoms (the only accent is the use of mohair).

Morabe is a past president  of the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines (FDAP) and has been active in promoting Philippine couture abroad. He has participated in several events promoting local fashion; among them was the Flores de Mayo of the Congregacion de Santisimo Nombre del Niño Jesus.
