A must-not-lose shirt!
“Concision in style, precision in thought, decision in life.” — Victor Hugo
German luxury clothing brand Van Laack is now available in the country, thanks to its Philippine partner Marilou “Alou” Koa (with husband Johnlu as marketing director).
Established in 1881 by Heinrich van Laack, the brand takes pride in its high quality workmanship. To formally launch its local presence, Van Laack unveiled its Spring-Summer 2012 collection at the Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk with society’s notable gentlemen taking the runway — Presidential Commission on Good Government commissioner Andy Bautista, Philex Mining Corp. SVP for corporate affairs and media relations Mike Toledo, CATS Motors, Inc. president Felix Ang, dentist to the stars Dr. Steve Mark Gan and actor Albert Martinez, among others. Present at the ribbon-cutting rites were German Ambassador Joachim Heidorn, Van Laack CEO Christian von Daniels with sales director-Asia Pacific Andreas Lerchbaumer and Singapore retail manager Jason Low.
Van Laack donated a portion of the proceeds from its February sales to the EJ Litton Foundation, Inc., a charity organization with a mission to help cancer-stricken children who cannot afford treatment, and educate those who are underprivileged.
Have your custom-made shirts done at the Van Laack store located at the ground floor of Greenbelt 5, Makati City. A Van Laack made-to-measure shirt is marked with a label that records its owner’s name and measurements. Now, that’s one shirt you wouldn’t want to lose.
Congratulations to power couple Johnlu and Alou!
