Look natural in 2012
MANILA, Philippines - As the color authority Pantone announces the color of the year, “Tangerine Tango,” Filipino-owned cosmetic brand Ever Bilena forecasts simple but surprising makeup trends for 2012.
Tangerine Tango is a bright reddish shade of orange that “continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.”
Equally spirited and energetic Ever Bilena brand manager Mark Salecina predicts, “2012’s general makeup look will still be the natural or nude look with a hint of some colors. But it will focus on healthy-looking skin. Orangey colors will be the top choice for lipstick but reddish and pinkish colors will still be in.” They will be complemented by 2011 color of the year Honeysuckle, a reddish pink hue.
Like modern Filipino women, the color of the year “is a bit exotic, but in a very friendly, non-threatening way.” Be awash in warm but dynamic colors of the new year while possessing the classic Filipina beauty with Ever Bilena’s all-time cosmetic spectacle.
