Fashion designing is a career built on passion. Noelle Llave, an emerging young designer, is the new fashion child as her artistry defines style in the process of creation and re-creation. A graduate of the School of Fashion and the Arts (SOFA), her structural and sculptural aesthetics display brimming linear perspectives in contemporary style. Her ingenious use of fabrication, play with construction and re-interpretation of forms bring to life interesting and stand-out masterpieces. Her marvelous geometric creations echo global trends that channel the return of modern minimalism. Inspired by anything and everything around her, the brilliant artist creates well thought of pieces fusing both her passions — art and fashion. The once aspiring architect admires fashion greats like Phoebi Philo, Yohji Yamomoto, Issey Miyake, Junya Watanabe, Rei Kawakubo, Gareth Pugh and the late Alexander McQueen.
In the local scene, she looks up to Jojie Lloren, Joey Samson, Ivarluski Aseron and Mitch Dulce. The future is bright for this artist who dreams of creations in different design mediums such as jewelry and pottery. She has an incurable passion to learn that she considers studying abroad to further hone her craft and perfect her art.
