A dinner dance for charity
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” — Mahatma Gandhi
It was an evening filled with elegance and world-class performances as the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) Muntinlupa branch recently had its annual Red Cross ball at the Alabang Country Club. The event was spearheaded by its hardworking chairman Manny Gonzales and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies chairman and governor former Sen. Dick Gordon and was organized with the help of philanthropic lady Mimi Valerio. The dinner and dance event featured internationally-acclaimed artists such as sultry singer Verni Varga, the all-male, classical pop tenor group The Angelos and The Philippine Dance Olympics Competition winners led by Juliet Genio. A classical waltz dance number was also effortlessly executed by the lovely Rose Jacob and her dance partner Alex Satrain. Proceeds of the glittery gathering will be used for the improvement of blood and social services in Muntinlupa.
Congratulations to the Philippine Red Cross Muntinlupa for another successful annual ball! See you next year!
An enthralling evening with Sofya
It was an enthralling evening of Chopin and Schumann as internationally-renowned Russian pianist Sofya Gulyak (seated, center) recently had a successful concert at the Philamlife Auditorium in Manila. After the show, the vivacious Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM) director Minerva Tanseco (standing, second from left) and her dynamic group treated the celebrated artist to a bountiful dinner at the Aristocrat Restaurant.
Seen having a great time were (seated) Rep. Imelda Marcos and Cultural Center of the Philippines president Raul Sunico; (standing, from left) Lil Dominguez, Letty Hahn, Nenuca Blardony, Boysie Villavicencio and Alfred Hahn.
Cheers to your group, and more memorable dinners to come!
