Experience the best treats

- Johnny Litton -

“Food is our common ground, a universal experience.” — James Beard

With various trends in dining and partying today, the upscale Society Lounge stands out as it is rapidly becoming the destination of choice of younger people who are out to enjoy the best times with friends over sumptuous food, aged-to-perfection wines, chart-topping music and awe-inspiring chic interiors. Seasoned chef and GM Patrice Freuslon presents the flavors of the world with his extensive training in the Ritz Hotel in Paris, the Fauchon and School of Lenotre. He also brought with him his experience in satisfying even the most discerning diners around the world as the executive chef at the Le Berlioz in Grenoble France, at the luxurious Maxim’s des Mers by Pierre Cardin that sailed the Mediterranean Sea, the Hyatt Regency in Texas, Circus Restaurant and People Restaurant in Lebanon. Celebrate every end of the week as Society Lounge presents the most notable contemporary DJs who play foot-stomping music to add more fun to any kind of gathering. Be sure to check out the impressive and extensive menu that offers delectable dishes such as shrimp noodle spring rolls with garlic chili, cream of cauliflower with white truffle oil and crispy bacon stick, California beef fajitas sandwich, Australian lamb chop with herbs and mashed potatoes and red fruit express and caramelized popcorn, apple tart with caramel sauce.

Go get your friends and experience the best treats only in Society Lounge. See you there!

A visit to the house of power

Reaffirming its aim of enriching the knowledge of its members on history and culture is the Society for Cultural Enrichment, Inc. (SCEI). Recently, members of the group had a tour of the Malacañang Palace. Led by the organization’s president, Angola Consul Helen Ong, SCEI members went down the political memory lane as they viewed art pieces and relics from the arrival of the Spaniards in 1521 to the Martial Law era. Indeed, every person interested in history should find time to take a tour of Malacañang where surprises await the discerning soul.

Congratulations to SCEI for another successful endeavor!

Johnny congratulates…

...the founder and formulator of O.N.E. (Organic, Natural and Eco-friendly) Naturales and Rochar Cosmeceuticals president Charade Galang for making waves recently at the Cosmo Prof Asia held in Hong Kong. The event is known as the leading business-to-business beauty trade show event in Asia and Charade was the only Filipino invited to showcase her products to the world. True enough, one of the most successful booths in the whole affair was (in photo) Charade’s O.N.E Naturales that had daily long queues of those wanting to try the world-class hair, skin-care and makeup products that will soon be available in stores in different parts of the world.

More power to you Charade! May you continue to bring honor to the Filipinos!
