The Friends for the Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) recently held its first fundraising activity, a fashion show titled Fashion…No Boundaries. The event, held at the ballroom of the New World Hotel, featured the creations of designer Goullee Gorospe. Part of the proceeds of this event was donated to the performing and visual arts scholars of the University of the Philippines, Far Eastern University and University of the East. This cause-oriented project was headed by FCCP director Grace Palma Tiongco, chairperson Baby de Jesus, co-chairs Baby Antonio and Nini Layug with committee members FCCP president Beth Cristobal, vice president Thelma Gana, directors Rose Lazaro and Chloe Romulo Periquet, secretary Evelyn Rañada, Rose Basa, Linda Cruz, Nene Pe Lim, Ed Romualdez, Roger Garcia and Bing Limjoco. The affair was sponsored by New World Hotel, Phoenix Sun International, Rafeli Realty and Development Corp., Up-Close and Personal Fucoidan, Vibal Publishing House and philanthropist Imelda Cojuangco.
