'Flavors of Thailand'

MANILA, Philippines - Adventurous gourmands have another destination to visit in August as Marriott Hotel Manila has launched the Flavors of Thailand in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Embassy of Thailand and Thai Airways.

To kick off the event, distinguished guests attended the cocktail party at The Lounge, which was beautifully transformed into a colorful venue filled with unique Thai embellishments. To highlight the opening, a vivid puppet Thai dance show astounded guests while they enjoyed authentic Thai canapés and intoxicating Thai iced tea by JW Marriott Bangkok chef Thanatorn Krobsuay, flown all the way from Thailand to share his expertise in the cuisine. It was a glittering success highlighted by the presence of Manila’s who’s who. Guests sampled a wide variety of wine and cocktails as well.

Delight and satisfy the palate at Marriott Café with its ongoing Flavors of Thailand food promotion. Diners also get a chance to win a pair of roundtrip tickets to Thailand courtesy of Thai Airways and Tourism Authority of Thailand. The prize trip includes a three-night stay with breakfast at a Marriott Hotel property in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Flavors of Thailand will be available during lunch and dinner.
