A joyful homecoming to remember
“The most beautiful discovery true friends make
is that they can grow separately without growing apart.” — Elisabeth Foley
A thoroughly enjoyable gathering of family and friends sharing a good meal, wonderful stories and joyful laughter was the beautiful scene during the recent homecoming dinner for former Philippine Ambassador to Italy Philippe Lhuillier and ivory-skinned wife Edna at The Establishment at the Fort. The intimate get-together was hosted by their loving children who came with their loved ones: Jean Henri and wife Bea, Christine, Jacqueline and husband Clinton Hess, Angelique and husband Martin Miranda, Andre, Camille and Madeleine. It was a celebration of the couple’s return from their successful 11-year stay in Italy. At the event, guests had the chance to view the highlights of the couple’s stay in Italy as well as the family’s most cherished moments through a visual presentation prepared by daughter Camille. It was indeed a vibrant night filled with cheers as eldest son Jean Henri also shared a toast to everyone, not only to welcome their parents’ return to the Philippines, but to show the family’s pride in the ambassador’s accomplishments as a diplomat throughout the years.
To Ambassador Philippe and Edna Lhuillier, benvenuti a casa!
