Summer is unfolding in technicolor. Another trend spotted at the Spring-Summer 2010 collections is the bountiful display of beautiful flowers. From digital florals to bouquets, small to oversized prints and almost abstract-like appearances, the updated take showcases a sense of play with a wow factor. Pattern play is creating great impact with an overwhelming fashion-forward aplomb. Sweet pickings on the runways of Dolce and Gabbana, Erdem, John Galliano, Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney and Marni are moving to the streets. This season’s front row of worthy gardens of delight is a fresh statement with a feeling of prettiness. The ultra feminine approach is creating an assortment of looks that can be girly, lady-like, Old World, country-prairie or sexy. From separates to dresses, the variety of hues is exciting style in fearless romanticism. Amidst the rise of other trends, fashion in the warm days ahead is in full bloom.
